However, the godfather is the official remake of the Malayalam hit movie Lucifer made by director Mohanlal. The movie collected about 47 crores in just five days. The movie has also starred the Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and also stars Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, and Murali Sharma. The film is on its way to be one of the biggest hits of Chiranjeevi’s career and came as a balm for the veteran actor after they faces the failure of his previous movie Acharya at the box office.
